What is the best memory specification to use in Windows 3.1 - expanded or
extended?

	I would disagree with that.  If you configure for extended you don't
get expanded.  If you tell QEMM to give you expanded, you get one pool to draw
both types from.  So windows gets all the extended it wants, and your programs
that want expanded can have it too.
