Due to a shortage of disk space, I was forced into deleting
some of the "baggage" which comes with Openwin3.0 .  I've been
careful in deleting and retesting the OW environment by removing
various *.c, *.h, help files. *.Z, etc files.  I'm down from
70Megs to 58Megs but I want more!!

I don't want to compile any OW applications on these machines, only
execute the applications so I need some info on these particular
file types:

openwin3.0/lib/*.a		these archive files are only need during
				compile/link or are they used during
				dynamic linking?

openwin3.0/lib/fonts/*		What about all these different font files?

openwin3.0/share/etc/NeWS/tnt/*.ps	postscript fragments or what ???

openwin3.0/share/src/fonts/*/*.bdf	What's a .bdf file?

Any deletion recommendations?  My SS2 will have the full blown version
of OW3 but the remaining SS1s and SS2s only need the minimal OW3 system.

Any help would be appreciate.
