Unfortunately, some of the replies are incorrect. This is mainly due to my own mistake in incorrectly asking the question. Let me rephrase my original question and give a scenerio: Assuming I am working in an Xwindow environment and suddenly, I receive a talk request from a user in a non-Xwindow environment. Now, I would like a X-based program to intercept that talk request and pops up a window. This window will have options for me to talk to the caller or not. Any other options would be excellent. Thanks in advance, and I am sorry for the inconvenience. -dennis-
