> Using eXcursion V1.? on a PC, we're trying to run an Xapplication (dxclock) > over DECnet on the Ultrix server and get the error message: > > Application not found in host "dxclock" > > Defining the application as /usr/bin/dxclock produces the same error. It could be that you have the wrong version of PCX_SERVER on your Ultrix machine. The version that ships with PATHWORKS for Ultrix (for use by PC DECwindows Motif) is an earlier version and does not support the protocol version used by eXcursion for Windows. Check your eXcursion documentation for instructions on how to install a new PCX_SERVER (DECnet object PCX$SERVER). The version shipped with eXcursion for Windows V1.1 (and V1.0) is backward compatible with PC DECwindows Motif V4.1.
