Assuming you've got hello (K&R's famous "hello, world") somewhere in
your path, pop this in a file and load it into whatever version of sc
you use:

# This data file was generated by the Spreadsheet Calculator.
# You almost certainly shouldn't edit it.

set extfun
label A0 = @ext("hello",1)
goto A0

Hope that helps you out. BTW, I use sc 6.19 - Does anyone know if
there are more recent versions around, or if the X-based ones are past
6.1 yet?
