Hi,

is there a report writer which is simpler to use than tbl or tex
and allows column formatting, grouping, total&subtotal calculations on breaks,
grouping of column headers, page numbering, reprint headings on nextpage,
footnotes ...

ex.
            MAJOR HEADER
            ------------
            HeadA HeadB
            ----- -----
             10.2 1.000
             11.3 2.000

I would like this to run off ascii files, but I realize that most applications
are database report writers. Any help would be appreciated.

Holger.
