The GX, unlike the CG3, uses a hardware cursor.  It is limited to 16x16-sized
cursors, sorry.  There is no "fix".

I was disappointed to find this out as well; I liked my Public Enemy gunsight
logo cursor on my 2 GS at work, but when I had a 1+ GX at home for awhile, I
couldn't use it.  I now have a SPARCstation-1 clone with a CG3 and I can use
it again ...
