Hi all,
I'm interested in a font for X windows that will allow
me to display Hiragana writing. Does anyone have such
a font or know where one may exist?

       Thanx in advance.

It comes with X11R5. which you need to use 16-bit fonts anyways.
it's all in "kanji24", along with a few thousand kanji
