As a neophyte in the PHIGS world, I would like to know how people convert
data output from a 3D scanner (I have no idea what format they're in either)
to a form that can be drawn using PHIGS. Such that a solid object can be
modelled pretty easily on a graphics workstation. It will be beneficial to me
if someone can share her/his experience in designing such interface/form of
data format to be used by PHIGS. Any experience similar to the above mentioned
is also greatly appreciated.
thanks,
-Osbert
