Hi MIT-X11R5 PEX specialists.
For my application I need to integrate PEX and my XEvent loop.
When I create my XWindow with
XCreateWindow(...) and
XSelectInput(appl_display,appl_window, ButtonPressMask | KeyPressMask );
the drawable id is 54525953
Wenn I open my PEX workstation with
Pconnid_x_drawable conn;
conn.display = appl_display;
conn.drawable_id = appl_window;
popen_ws(WS1, (Pconnid)(&conn), phigs_ws_type_x_drawable)
and ask for the drawable id (with Pescape) then the same id is returned.
BUT when I then start an XEvent loop and pick into the X/PEX-Window
all events come from the window with the id 71303169 (in my example).
WHY is the window id no longer the same ??
Has somebody of you made some experiences with integrating InterViews 3.0.1
with MIT-X11R5 PEX ??
Thanks for any help
Martin
