Hi, Folks
My company has a visualization system that uses 2D and 3D display-list
graphics features. Currently these are implemented by a widget that I wrote
in-house. It's a 3D display-list version of the Xlib drawing primitives.
Anyway, it supports wysiwyg output to PostScript and AutoCAD DXF format by
sending 2D NDC (i.e. screen-ready) primitives out the bottom of the widget
to either a PS or DXF engine.
We'd like to "go standard" and use a more portable drawing package than
my proprietary widget but we need to retain our wysiwyg PS and DXF capability.
So can I get 2D NDC primitives out of PEX without hacking the server? If not,
how does everyone else do what we do? Is there a better approach than the one
we've taken?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
