Has anybody got a patch for the PEX-SI that will enable it to support monochrome? If so, can you send me
the patch, please?

Many thanks in advance.
Lakshmi.

I'm not aware of any such patch, although it is often requested on
this newsgroup. Just how much work would it be to patch the SI support
a 1-bit display? Can anyone who worked on the PEX-SI give us a
ballpark guess? There might be some students who would be willing to
do the job if they knew the size of the task.

It actually shouldn't be too much work (though it won't even make
it onto my priority list), look in the file miConvert.c in the directory
/extensions/server/PEX/ddpex/mi/level2 of the SI server.
