 Hello world,

Does anyone out there can recomment any book which explain how to
write applications in PEX ?.

I am asking this because the documentation which comes with the X11R5 is
rather criptic.

 Thank you

One doesn't really write an application "in PEX". You use an API that
generates PEX. For example, the PHIGS library provided on the X11R5 tape
is an example of an API that generates PEX. If you know PHIGS, you should
be OK with using this library (refer to the man pages and the sample clients
for more help).

O'Reilly & Associates have recently announced this book about this PHIGS:

PHIGS REFERENCE MANUAL: 3D PROGRAMMING IN X
edited by Linda Kosko
1116 pages
ISBN 0-937175-91-9

Another popular PEX API is PEXlib which reached final specification just
this month. There is a tutorial at the Jan 93 X Tech Conference in
Boston. Books should be out soon.
