Many structures used in Xlib are private to Xlib - these 'opaque' structures aren't defined in any standard X header file, so I doubt that the compaints from lint have anything to do with your problem. The X on ULTRIX prior to ULTRIX V4.2 is X11R3; ULTRIX V4.2 supplies X11R4. Your problem is not likely to be caused by something 'different' between an X Window System distribution from MIT and one from DEC - it's probably something wrong in your program, sorry to say. Give that you haven't provided ANY detail about what goes wrong (beyond a core dump) i doubt that anyone can help you. A stack trace from DBX might be helpful - or even a code fragment. (Please don't take this as a flame, but your posting was equivalent to dropping your car off at the garage with no instructions as to what's wrong.
