Frame 1.3X on X11.4

I am having a problem running Frame Technology's Framemaker (1.3X) on a Sun
under X11.4. The dotted lines are not visible. I have read in previous
answers to this question that I should use "xset bc", but this does
not work. Does anyone have another solution or recognizes this problem ?
