I am seeking a software package that will allow me to capture a user's
mouse and keyboard inputs to an arbitrary X window application.  The
resulting script then needs to be replayed and applied back to the 
application many times to achieve the same results.  

The capture/replay application needs to run on workstations by Sun,
HP, IBM, DEC, SGI and probably others.

Commercial as well as public domain packages can be considered.  

I would appreciate any information, recommendations, thoughts, etc.
