This has been used on genuine VT100s for years, and more recently on xterm running under Unix. vnorm - Script to reset VT100 terminal What's here: <esc>[m attributes off <esc>(B charset G0 = US <esc>)0 charset G1 = graphics ^O (SI) select charset G0 <esc>7 save cursor and attributes <esc>[r select whole screen scroll region <esc>8 restore cursor and attributes <esc>[?5l white on black ) <esc>[?5h black on white ) select 1 only begin vnorm echo 'X[mX(BX)0OX[?5lX7X[rX8' | tr 'XO' '\033\017' end -- </pre><p> <a href="http://andrew.triumf.ca/~andrew"> Andrew Daviel </a>, <a href="http://www.triumf.ca"> TRIUMF </a>, Vancouver, Canada </a></p><img src= "http://andrew.triumf.ca/~andrew/sig2t.gif"> <br><a href="mailto:advax@triumf.ca"> advax@triumf.ca </a>
