I'm curious about whether there are any alternative UNIX windowing systems
to X.  I recently read the papers on the Plan 9 operating system and I like
what they're doing with the "8 1/2" window system.  Is there anything similar
for UNIX?  Could 8 1/2 be easily ported to UNIX?
