Hey Scratch, if you have some legal credentials let us know about them. I mean, you're well past giving an opinion on what should and shouldn't be fair into trying to state what legal and not legal. So exactly what is your legal experience? How many court cases have you litigated on intellectual property? Do you have a degree? The thing about the Internet is that you sometimes deal with people who know from experience on this sort of thing. So unless you have some credentials you want to share with us that would give someone reason to think you know this stuff, you're just confusing the issue. Ignoring the fact that I've already consulted legal on this, I've years of first hand experience in dealing with intellectual property law (specificially trademark, copyright, patents). I also have first hand litigation experience on intellectual property law. The other person who I vaguely know, Steven Den Beste, has over 25 years experience in dealing with intellectual property law. I don't want to make you not feel comfortable in giving your opinion on something because that's the whole point of the news forums and I consider you a valued contributor to the news groups, BUT I am finding you trying to tell me what the law is more than a bit insulting. But if you do have credentials to back up your opinions then that's a different matter. With the anonynimity of the Internet, for all I know you're some college kid. ;) Brad > > -scratch
