The Oregon Mountaineering Association will be
offering two day classes on basic Mountaineering
skills Aug 29/30 and Sept 12/13. The first day
covers basic skills for climbing on snow and the
second day emphasizes glacier travel and basic
crevasse rescue skills. No previous experience is
assumed.

These are the last classes currently scheduled
for 1998, although we sometimes do one in early
October if conditions permit.

Contact the OMA for more details, or see our web site.
