But you know... her "stance" isn't really one.
I mean, she doesn't actually *say* if she's for it, or against it.

Mind you... if that was her "stream of consciousness"... I like it.  Her
thoughts eco mine.  I was involved with someone who had an alcoholic parent...
I find the emotional problems assciated with alcohol far more damaging to our
society, than "premature" death attributed to first-hand smoking.

But as I was going to say... she doesn't go far enough... I want to know where
she stands.  And she doesn't say... I don't think she goes far enough.

Yes, there are things we do, that aren't "healthy".  But do we have the right
to do them?  I say yes.  If it's Hang gliding, climbing Everst, smoking or eat
too damned much ice cream and not exercising... I don't want pass-times removed
from our society, because people deam it a "public health issue".

That's hogwash
