   The Ithaca Swimming Club is offering student and visiting post-doc
memberships for this summer.  The club has a pleasant location on Uptown
Road just around the corner from Warren Road.  Besides a 6 lane 25 yard
heated pool, the facility has a secondary swimming area, a kiddie pool,
two tennis courts, picnic areas, changing rooms with showers, deck chairs,
ping-pong table, basket ball practice court, and volley ball area.

   Ample parking is available and both group and private swimming lessons
are offered.  Two lap lanes are always available, and the 11 to noon hour
is reserved for lap swimming.

   Fee for an individual or student family is $135.  Proof of student or
visiting post-doc status must be provided.  Trial memberships are also
available for residents at a fee of $295.

   For further information, please call the pool manager, Alayne
MacArthur, at 257-1551 daytime or 533-7228 evenings and weekends.  The
pool number for checking on pool hours is 266-9574.  Or you can e-mail
