Normally, in principle I'm against using the internet for any advertising
purposes, but in this case, I think an exception is warranted.

Two weeks ago, in anticipation of World AIDS Day, 93.5 FM WVBR in Ithaca,
NY released a compact disc called "WVBR Rocks Ithaca for AIDS Work of
Tompkins County."

AIDS Work of Tompkins County is a very worthy organization whose members
work to educate the community about HIV, and they also work with
HIV-positive area residents to ensure that their quality of life and
their medical care is as good as possible.

The compact disc is a 76 minute compilation of twenty songs, one each by
twenty local artists from the Ithaca/Tompkins County area. Among the
artists are the Burns Sisters, Martin Simpson, Trailer Parks, Hilary
Altman, Annie Burns and the Rain, Mighty Kong, Brother Meat, Chad
McLoughlin, Tribulations, Blindman's Holiday, Neon Baptist, and others.
Some of these artists have gained fame outside of the central New York
area, as well. The music ranges from rock and roll, to country, to
blues, to bluegrass, to reggae, to a capella, and back, and is all very
high quality music. The artists have donated the songs to this
collection, so all proceeds after production costs are met will go
directly to AIDS Work of Tompkins County.

The disc is only ten dollars ($10), and if you're in the local area,
you'll find it at Sounds Fine, Discount Records, Papa Jim's, Cabbagetown
Cafe, K-Mart, and several other locations. If you're not in the local
area, please contact me by e-mail, and we'll arrange something.

This disc is worth three times the price, and all the money is for a very
good cause. Please consider buying one or a few as holiday gifts.

Thank you very much for your attention.
