REVOLVING DOOR IS A LOCAL (ITHACA) BAND FOR HIRE

We're a six-piece classic rock/hard rock/southern rock/alternative....and
some other stuff kind of group, who enjoy playing good ol' 60's, 70's,
80's and 90's rock and roll. Some of it has strong roots in the blues, or
leans toward country, but deep down it's all rock and roll. It's the music
you grew up with, or your parents (or grandparents? Gasp!) or children
grew up with - from Journey to Semisonic, from Doobie Brothers to Tonic,
from Bachman Turner Overdrive to Dishwalla, from .38 Special to Third Eye
Blind. You can dance to most of it. Some of it will make you say, "Hey! I
haven't heard THIS one in years!!" We also play some of our own stuff once
in a while - songs that might leave you thinking Stevie Nicks had ZZTop's
children. We'll learn requests if needed - except PLEASE have some mercy -
no more requested 10 minute versions of "Truly, Madly, Deeply" like we
learned for someone's wedding last summer......!! (Whew!)

Revolving Door plays at bars, clubs, parties, weddings, wakes, bar
mitzvahs, internet chat rooms, company picnics, bank foreclosures,
hootenannies, dentist appointments, political conventions, bachelorette
parties, and more............if you are so inclined, please VISIT OUR
WEBSITE!! http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/jta1/door.html

We are currently booking dates as far in advance as Feb. & March, 1999, so
if you are planning a summer event, be sure to give us a ring soon! We'd
be happy to learn a few requests for you if you let us know what they are
a month or so in advance. AND HEY, if WE can't play it, chances are our CD
player can.......which, we might add, is PERFECT for those folks who just
can't decide between a DJ and a band......because we can (and have) done
BOTH for people!! If for some reason we can't learn your special song
(for instance, due to the "Tower of Power" horn section in the
background....or the 100-member concert choir backing vocals), we'll STILL
play the tune for you, providing we can get our mitts on a copy of it.

For bookings, questions on becoming a "Door Knob" and receiving our
monthly e-mail newsletters, or advice on how to get rid of your unwanted
holiday guests.....please contact us either via e-mail at:
RevolvDr@aol.com *or* just give us a call at 607-753-0881. Be sure to
leave a message if we're not around - we'll get back to you.

THANK YOU.....and happy holidays to all!

Jeff Anbinder Doug Dann Rod Dayton
Brian Mingle Terry Mingle Dave Pruyne

And our faithful road-crew elves: Kenny Romer and Phil Sanford!!
