this may be true...however...i raised two girls 13 months apart...they were
both taught the same values in life...to tell the truth...dont steal...and dont
make fun of other people...along with many other rules of life that make you a
good person...not that they arent good people...but...they have both been in
jail....they both have had children out of wedlock...they have both been on
drugs at one time or another...they havent murdered anyone and i always owned
up to what they did wrong and tried to do what i thought was best at the
time...right now i am doing the tough love thing with my oldest one...she is
into drugs....stealing...just all around being a pain in the ass....i accept
what she has done and i love her...BUT...just because i love her doesnt mean i
have to like what she does....i think that straying from the norm has to be
already there or those things wouldnt happen...i may not be explaining it right
but i hope you get what i mean....even if you are taught right from
wrong...there are those people who just dont care....i cant blame the
parent...im also not saying that some parents arent to blame...ones who
blatantly smoke or do drugs in front of their children have no business telling
that child that they cant do it...i smoke and i cannot tell my kids not to when
i have a cigarette in my hand...i can tell them the dangers but cant tell them
not to....it all boils down to their decision as to what they want to do...
