Raven, you are not alone.  Those things have happened to me too.  I have had
all sorts of "odd events" in my life, but in no way do I claim to be psychic.

Several years ago my friend's husband was badly injured.  He was not expected
to live, but everyone was praying for his recovery.  He was in so much pain,
the doctors could not believe he was "hanging on".  My daughter prayed for God
to "take away his pain" and that night he passed away.  Here is the part that
involves me....I know precisely when he passed, down to the minute.  I woke,
sat straight up in bed, and just KNEW he was gone.  Don't know how, don't know
why.....but I KNEW he was gone.  Several hours later my friend called and the
first thing I said to her was "I know"  She said "who told you?"  "no one, I
just know"  I then asked her what time and when she told me I nearly passed out
the feeling was so overwhelming.  That moment happened 10 years ago and now I
accept it as a gift...he came to say goodbye and thank me for teaching my
daughter about prayer.  My friend and I have talked many times about this
prayer, my experience, and our feelings about it.  She believes strongly that
her husband kissed us all on the nose to say goodbye (something he did while he
was alive) as he was going to heaven.....after what I experienced....how can I
argue with that?  

Soooo, am I psychic?  Nah.....I have intuition.  Do I believe in ghosts?  Not
the movie kind, that is for sure, but I do believe the spirit of someone can
visit us when we need them in our hearts and minds.  Oh and I am with Russ on
those so called "psychics" who use their "gift" for profit....they couldn't
guess their own age, much less predict the future...lol.
