Something similar to this happened to me on 3 occasions. Not in order of
occurrance....I was at work on day and one of my coworkers was singing "her"
rendition of "Grandma's Featherbed" and it was pretty bad....I said to her,
jokingly "John Denver would keel over and die if he heard you singing his
song".....next day...John Denver died.

I was at my parents house one night and my dad, who has always been a Jacques
Cousteau fan was watching a special on him and I said "Geez dad, isn't he dead
already?"....next day he died.

My uncle was going to New York City and he asked what I wanted in the way of a
souvenir....my uncle is a big spender and so I asked him to buy me a designer
shirt....from a BIG designer. He got me a wonderful shirt...Versaci. I remember
saying, I'd better keep this shirt on the hanger...when Versaci is dead and
gone, this shirt could be worth millions and I laughed it off...next day..he
was murdered.

So, were they all coicidences? Probably, but still quite strange.
