I am using waveoutgetnumdevs, waveingetnumdevs and auxgetnumdevs to get the
audio card numbers and then to get the capabilities. The first 2 functions
perform as expected but the auxgetnumdevs always return 0. So either nothing
found or there is a problem.
This works 100% under win98 & NT4.0.
What should I do different for win2000.
Here is the source for a small test program. It compiles under both VC6.0
and BC++ builder5.0 as is, and the tests were done with both compilers and
the results were the same. The drivers for my audio cards are the latest
provided by creative and they claim it is win2000 compatible.
Thanks
Werner Deyzel
