I have a Creative Sound Blaster 16 Plug and Play (WDM) card in a Pentium
computer running MS Windows ME connected to my Stereo. I want to record
from record to hard drive. The wiring is ok (amplifier tape out to SB
line in) and I can listen to music from my stereo in great quality on my
computer. When I record sound from line in though the quality is poor (I
tried several sound recorders and settings, all with the same results).
I tried tweaking in the control panel sound settings and the volume
control settings but still no satisfying result. Do you have a solution?

Thank you so much,

Ingo
