The 8433e is a Matushita cw-7585-b.  There is a firmware update that
turns the
8433e into the cw-7585-b.  There are no changes as to what the drive
can do and if you look at the firmware for the 8433e it is 1r04 and
the firmware for the cw-7585-b is 1.04.  If you do flash it the
creative nero will no longer see your cdrw as a 8433e and will no
longer work with it.  The cw-7585-b does work with nero which imho is
far superior to ezcd creator anyway and no reason to use something
that is less in its abilities.  CDClone does not work with the 8433e
or the cr-7585-b.  Your version of nero will update to the nero 5.5
which has more functions as well as a built in wave editor.  Ahead.de
has a link to the cw-7585-b if you want to change the firmware but be
warned it will void your warrenty and could also make the cd-rw
useless.
