There is not DOS support for Win2000 because Windows2000 is based on NT
technology. Unfortunately, Neither Windows NT nor Windows 2000 have a true
DOS environment, only a DOS shell. The DOS level drivers for the sound card
can only be used in a true DOS mode and not in DOS shell. As a result,
there are no drivers available for obtaining sound in a DOS shell under
Windows 2000.
