Dear Ji LUO, Thanks for your reply. With all due respect, your answer is totally unacceptable. I am putting this as mildly as I possibly can. We live in an age in which hardware and software develop so rapidly, that each product is already obsolete by the time one picks it off the shelf at the store. There has developed a code of ethics between suppliers and consumers, according to which code, suppliers do their best effort to update their drivers and software for a product, so as not to make their consumers feel very stupid when it turns out that due to a migration to the next breed of Windows, their investment in that product has gone down the drain. It seems that Creative has violated and mutilated that code of ethics. There is no wonder that subscribers to the WebCam newsgroup don't attempt to choose their words very carefully when voicing their thoughts regarding what seems to be a scandalous policy on the part of Creative, not to offer any support for the mentioned WebCam products. I would highly appreciate it if you take this message to whoever is responsible for this outrageous policy. I would be very happy if you could tell us that this policy has been revoked and that we are going to have the updated drivers and software. Kind regards, Shimon Yanowitz "Ji Luo [Creative]" <jluo@creativelabs.com> wrote in message news:93iua2$8r1$1@news.creativelabs.com... > Webcam II is an older product that we have discontinued support for.
