I have been waiting a few days for help with my pci512 card - i really
really need it to work !!

I still have the same problem - windows crashes every time i start it, if
the pci512 card is enabled.
And there isn't many diffrent drivers to try with - actually only ONE driver
on CL's site.

So if no one can help me fixing this, i can only use this card for playing
cd's and dos games (hmm my old sound card could do that very good too)

Here is a more detailed version of my problom (as i wrote in a older post) :

I have installed my SB PCI-512 sound-card in my pc, but every time i install
the drivers in windows98, windows crashes.
When i restart windows, windows begins to play the windows startup sound
(with the pci512 card), but after a few seconds the
sound stops, and it turns to a never ending long beep, while windows again
is crashed. Windows will only run if i disable the pci512 card in device
manager.
The SB16 emulator in dos work fine - i have no problems running all the
test's in SBEGO.exe.
I do also not have problems with playing CD's from my cd-rom drive.
