Running Windows ME and Soundblaster Live Plat.5.1   With my Microphone
and headset plugged into the Live Drive I can speak into the Microphone
and can hear my voice in my head set.  But I can't get Soundrecorder to
work and If I go to Start, settings, control panel, Sound and Multimedia
and Click on the Voice tab and Click on Voice Test at Microphone test
when I speak there is no movement on the Peak meter and when I click
next there is a little note saying YOUR VOICE NOT DETECTED.  One the
Play Control and the Record Control the Microphone is not muted and
turned all the way up. And When Play Control is up and I speak through
the microphone the Play Control meter in the 1st box indicates it is
hearing my sound.  Is there someplace else that my microphone might be
muted
