Hi-

I had the same problem but it was due to my Logitech Webcam. I don't know
if you have that but I'm running Windows ME and I have the SB Live soundcard
and I got the exact same error message. The reason for the conflict was
because Logitech loads in other audio drivers cause it comes with a built-in
mic with the camera. If you don't have this hardware (The Logitech Webcam)
then maybe you have additional audio drivers loading from somewhere else and
maybe that's possibly causing the conflict.
