I installed the latest LiveWare, which adds a new icon in the system tray (like we need more icons in the system tray... why is it that every company out there thinks it is welcome to clutter our system trays this way?) This icon seems to check for program updates, and for some ungodly reason there seems to be a new update EVERY SINGLE DAY. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that EVERY UPDATE RESETS OUR AUDIO SETTINGS. My SoundFont memory, for instance, is something I constantly have to re-adjust (on a daily basis) as is the GM Bank I use by default. A DAILY BASIS. This is not normal. The only way for me to stop this occurance is to completely disable the Creative Launcher. Why don't we have the choice to check for updates on the web? Why is this forced on us, with such a senseless side effect as resetting all settings an issue that remains UNRESOLVED by Creative? Is it just me? Why doesn't one of those daily updates fix the issue of resetted settings?
