Hmm. Say one thing about parking tickets and all of the sudden I get a
bunch of requests for this info. Well...

date rules reason
====		=====		======
7-oct-92	Sunday Yom Kippur
12-oct-92	suspended	Columbus Day/Succoth
13-oct-92	suspended	Succoth
19-oct-92	suspended	Shemini Atzereth
20-oct-92	suspended	Simchas Torah
3-nov-92	suspended	Election Day
11-nov-92	suspended Veterans Day
26-nov-92	Sunday Thanksgiving
8-dec-92	suspended	Immaculate Conception

As well as the budget-related Wednesday/Saturday suspensions.

Thanks! I'm assuming that you're talking about the "alternate side
parking rules", right? (E.g. I still have to feed meters on the
suspended days... what about "Sunday rules" days?)

If anybody knows precisely what rules (i.e. which street signs) are
"suspended" or given their Sunday interpretation on the days listed
above, I'd be grateful to hear an explanation.

Yup. (See that Subject: line!)

Officially, just the ASOS rules. In practice, I've parked in some pretty
blatant "no standing" spots on Christmas or New Years, but that's
probably just because there are no brownies out then. If you forget to
feed the meter on Yom Kippur, you're probably toast.
