:::: disclaimer ::::
As some may note, I have posted a message much like this in the past, but
recent events have prompted me to post again, since some have forgotten :-)
I am able to purchase computer hardware and software at wholesale prices.
If you are planning on purchasing any computer-related stuff, I would like
to assist (since money is tight all around), by offering what merchandise
I can get at my cost, plus the pesky GST and PST. ****I WILL MAKE NO PROFIT
ON ANY SALES****, all I ask is that you cover my gas and a reasonable
amount for my time in delivering these things, typically 5 or 10 dollars.
I am not in this for money, I just mainly want people (especially
students) to be able to get some things without paying an arm and a leg for
them. I can get almost any piece of software for the IBM and Macintosh,
as well as most peripherals. I can get a somewhat more limited selection
of computer systems. I will state up front that in some cases, I cannot
get things as cheap as some stores can sell them (since they buy in large
volumes, and get a good discount). If you can get it cheaper somewhere else
DO IT. I won't do any of the retail mumbo jumbo about matching any prices,
because I'm not out to make money on this. If you have something that you
are looking for, ask me, and I will tell you how how much you can get it
for through me. Please, don't ask me questions like 'which X is better' or
'what capabilites does X have' or the like, since I probably won't know, and
if I do, I generally wouldn't have time to answer. Like I have said, I
do not want to be a salesman, rather I just want people to get a good
deal on computer equipment. The prices I can get things for vary with the
number of things I get. If 10 people want high speed modems at the same time,
I can get a bit of a discount over the pice I could get you a single one. To
this end, I would be willing to co-ordinate group purchases, as long as
it doesn't take massive amounts of my time.
To those who doubt my motives, I can say nothing but what I have already
said. Also, all things I get are purchased legally through a company duly
registed with the province of Bristish Columbia and possesing a retail license
from the City of Vancouver. I have dealt with several people in the past
on this basis, and I think (I hope) they were satisfied.
If you are at all interested, or know people who are, please respond to
krywolt@cs.ubc.ca, or phone me at 224-7236. Again, I repeat that I AM NOT
MAKING A PROFIT ON ANY SALES. If you want, I will let you browse through
catalogues of computer hardware and software with the retail and wholesale
pricing printed in ink. All I ask is that you cover my time and effort
(and gas :-) to get you any items.

P.S. Like I said before, please direct all flames to my E-mail address and
not to this newsgroup. Also please pardon the crossposting, but
I want as many people as possible to have an opportunity to get in
on this.
