Hi all, I am accessing a videotex service via modem from my mac, and Zterm doesn't handle it very well. Does anyone know of a comms program (preferably public domain or shareware, but will buy if necessary) which handles videotex on the mac? I had never heard of videotex before now, but I think it has some strange characters which allow the display of blocks of colour and other crude video effects. Without the knowledge that the incoming data is videotex, Zterm (and every other terminal program I've tried) simply displays a lot of garbage along with the text, and it gets all the formatting wrong. I would really appreciate an email reply if you know anything about how to handle this on the mac. Thanks in advance, Nick. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******** I F Y O U Q U I T , Y O U ' L L N E V E R W I N ******** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Depends on the kind of videotex service, but if it's CEPT 2 (the french
one), you can get minitel/mac on any info-mac mirror in
comm/bbs/minitel.hqx.
There are also a couple of CTB tools for it.
Hope that helps,
Jacques.
