I am currently using the shareware program Address Book on my macintosh. It has a dialling feature which puts the tones through the mac's speaker. The problem I am having is that if I hold the handset of the telephone near the speaker, then *sometimes* it will dial the number, other times it does nothing at all. Does anybody know any reason that this happens ? If it did not work at all I would not be surprised, but the fact that sometimes I can make it go makes me wonder about the reasons. If anybody can help at all, please mail me. Thanks heaps, Nick.
