Hello,

I am planning on returning to school for my Ph.D. in the fall of 1999
and was wondering if anyone there could help me in choosing which
schools to apply to.

I am looking into American Studies and have interests in vaudeville,
circus, strongmen, physical culture.

If anyone one knows of any schools that specialize in any of these
areas, please let me know.

It is best to email directly as I cannot frequently read newsgroups.

my address is: jbuck@wam.umd.edu

Thank you in advance for your help.

...But comedy did escape notice in the beginning because it was not
taken seriously.
