              An overview of component based software development

This talk wil discuss the motivation behind software components, and will
survey a number of component implementations including VBX controls,
Delphi components, and OLE Custom Controls (OCX). 

To reach SJSU, take 280 and use the 7th Street Exit. Go north on 7th
Street until you get to the 7th Street garage. The garage fee is $2.00 in
coins. MacQuarrie Hall is on 6th Street and San Carlos, adjacent to the
garage. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Lost/confused/need special
