[The Swiss educational system has a somewhat different terminology for
things.  The position below really is for a slot in the Ph.D. program
with guaranteed RA/TA support.  The RA/TAship pays very well, probably
around $30K / year (yes, that's not a typo).  Hans spent several years
at DEC SRC before returning to Switzerland, and is a fun guy to work

Assistant Position

Applications are invited for an assistant position at the Institute of
Computer Systems at the Department of Computer Science. An M.Sc.
degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and a background
in digital design and computer architecture is required.

The position includes supervision of class work and participation in
ongoing research projects. The focus of this research are computer
architectures with support for time-dependent data. The position
allows for acquiring a Doctorate degree.

The position is available immediately. Funding is provided by the
Swiss government.
