First you divide the times you got for you selection sorts by the number
of elements in the array for each sort:

If it took .1 seconds (gprof output) to run on Handel with n=1024,
.1 sec / 1024 elements = 9.7 x 10^-5 sec/element.

Do this for each run with both machines, add up all the result and
divide by the number of runs. You should have 10 selection sort runs; 5
different n values on two machines, 5x2=10.

They want the answer in MICROseconds, which I think is millionths or
x10^-6 (milliseconds is thousandths = x10^-3).
If your original answers were in seconds, the average per operation you
just calculated will be too. Mine was of the magnitude A.BCD x10^-4
seconds, so I just moved the decimal two places to the right, leaving me
with ABC.D x 10^-6 seconds = ABC.D microseconds.
