Straight from the source(Paul Hansen):

I've installed the latest version of jdk and jre

    jdk1.2.2-001     jre1.2.1_04

So, the path for jdk1.2.2 on the Suns is now:

  /usr/local/jdk1.2.2/bin

You need to change your path for java:

For C shell (csh, tcsh), edit the startup file (~./cshrc):

   set path=(/usr/local/jdk1.2.2/bin $path)

For ksh, bash, or sh, edit the profile file (~/.profile):

  PATH=/usr/local/jdk1.2.2/bin:$path


You can check to see if you have the correct java:

$> which java   /usr/local/jdk1.2.2/bin/java

  or


$> java -version   java version "1.2.2"   Classic VM (build
JDK-1.2.2-001, green threads, sunwjit)


jdk1.1.6 is still on the machines for those who want it.

 /usr/java1.1/bin

The old version of jdk1.2 (/usr/java) has been removed from
all of the suns.
