Here is some information that I found useful. It tells you how to deal
with disscussion groups through Netscape 4 or higher. I recieved it
after a query to the computer consulting department.

It is possible, assuming you have a newer version of Netscape. If you
are
using Netscape Navigator 4, you can set up the cs200 newsgroup by
following
the instructions bellow:

First you need to tell Netscape where the news server is. Open Netscape
and
select Preferences under the Edit menu. Click the + sign next to Mail &

Groups on the left side of the dialog box. 5 subheadings should appear.

Click on the subheading that says Groups Server. On the right hand
side,
enter yuma.colostate.edu for the 'Discussion groups (news) server' and
make
sure it is set to Port 119. The rest of the settings should be okay by
default. Click Ok to save the settings.

Next, you need to subscribe to the cs200 news groups. Under the
Communicator menu in Netscape, select Collabra Discussion Groups. A
window
showing all of the news groups you subscribe to appears (most likely
this is
fairly empty except for a few mail folders and a yuma.colostate.edu
folder).
Right click on yuma.colostate.edu and select 'Subscribe to Discussion
Groups...". Next to Discussion Group: type 'csu.cs.200'. Click on
Subscribe on the right hand side and then Ok at the bottom.

You can read the messages in the news group by double clicking on it.

If you have any other questions, let us know.
