Our beloved Engineering Network Services has changed the college of engineering domain name from lance.colostate to engr.colostate. As a result, all occurences of "http:/www.lance..." should change to "http://www.engr...". I am not a script guru but I think that there should be a way of doing it with a script which will trace a whole directory structure (including sub directories) find all occurences of the old URL and replace it with the new one. This script will involve the find, grep and awk commands. But I have no clue, neither the time to invest, to find out how. Is there any gentle soul our there that has a similar script or could produce one with a few keystrokes? Regards, Leo Irakliotis
