To ease the job of system administration, I installed the DHCP server on my NT 4.0 server. Things went well until I realized that the client computers have no access to anything outside my domain. (i.e. client assigned the address 129.82.197.136 can reach 129.82.197.251 but not 129.82.100.64 because of the subnet mask 255.255.255.0). These are win95 clients, and their gateway remained the same as before I switched them to DHCP. Is this a limitation or `feature' of DHCP, or is there a way to solve this problem in the configuration? I don't see a gateway setting in my DHCP server properties...
