Open the system properties dialog and go to the device manager tab and remove thd dial up adapter (have your Win95 CD or Disks handy)apply and ok through everything(I believe the system will restart). Now go to Start, Programs, Accessories, Internet Tools, Internet Setup Wizard, and follow the instructions on the screen. This will reinstall the Dial up Adapter and everything should now work. Good Luck!
