I hate it when urls are longer than they have to be, so I really like the Apache behavior that uses index.html as the default web page. (Okay, everyone does it now days, but Apache pioneered it, no?) But what if I want my default web page to be a perl script? I could put an http redirect in in the headers of index.html, but that makes the back button not work (unless you're really quick), and I /HATE/ that. This is for my cs web page, so remember in your answer that I don't have admin access to the web server. The question is worth 100 points. You have 10 minutes to answer. -- Adam Carheden carheden@holly.ColoState.EDU
